GOT MY EYE ON YOU
Museum guards in Russia tend to be women of a certain type. They watch but rarely speak and never smile. If they do say anything it’s ‘NO’ which clearly offers little job satisfaction. Photography being the prime ‘no’ – unless you have purchased a ticket allowing you this privilege and are wearing a stick- on badge to prove it positioned very prominently on your body.
Clearly they are ‘just doing their job’ but it can be intimidating having your every movement scrutinised.
